Who we are
Kupa‘aina of Honouliuli, rooted with the kuleana to assure that cultural traditions and practices of nā ‘ōiwi o Hawai‘i are perpetuated by promoting cultural awareness, providing educational opportunities, and an authentic Hawaiian presence in our community.
Translated, the name of our group means the Hawaiian Civic Club of Kapolei. Located in Kapolei, we were founded in 1993 and chartered by the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs in October of the same year.
The Association consists of 5 councils and 60+ member clubs throughout the State of Hawai‘i and the Continental U.S.
We are a recognized 501(c) 3 organization and chartered by the State of Hawai‘i as a non-profit organization.
Our members join in common interest and aspects of the Hawaiian culture, language, music, history and to provide educational opportunities. Our members are of Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian ancestry. All of our members are volunteers who not only support our immediate community, but the state at large.
