Who We Are
Membership
Our members join in common interest and aspects of the Hawaiian culture, language, music, history, and to provide educational opportunities. Our members are of Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian ancestry. All of our members are volunteers who not only support our immediate community, but the state at large.
The ʻAhahui has a general membership meeting every other month.
Our Board of Directors meet monthly via Zoom.
Active
Any adult of Hawaiian ancestry is eligible for Active membership, and shall have the right to engage in all ʻAhahui activities, speak and vote on all questions, hold elective office and serve on committees, serve as a delegate to annual conventions of the Association.
Associate
Any adult of non-Hawaiian ancestry is eligible to join. Non-Hawaiian members, however, must have demonstrated and practiced Hawaiian values, cultural sensitivity, and service to the ʻAhahui, and have consensus of the ʻAhahui to be able to serve as an officer.
Kupuna
Any adult member
65 years of age and older.

Persons of Hawaiian Ancestry below the age of 18 are eligible.
